IMS works with many clients who procure items from multiple sources. In this example our client buys (or IMS buys) from Manufacturer A, B and C. Items are shipped into IMS for inspection and assembled into units based on the client’s need. Marketing materials and displays are common projects, but it may also be something totally different. These units are fulfilled to retail locations, distributors, or to the end customers. Often times there are additional parts or finished units held back for future orders. These would be inventoried by IMS and shipped out as they are ordered. IMS can handle multiple ordering processes for fulfillment - from connecting to or developing an existing website to securing and managing a customer list. And our clients are kept up to date on activities through reports, automated email alerts and access to our warehouse management system. |
